About Me
I can trace a problem from the wiring up to the software — and I've spent my career building the skills on both sides to do it.
• The Hardware & Physical Side: Real, hands-on practice — I've wired a plasma generator into my espresso grinder to fix a static problem, replaced an In-Cell LCD multitouch display on an iPhone, modded a 3D printer with custom firmware for auto-leveling and motion smoothing, and assembled a 5-DOF robotic arm from scratch that I've since repurposed into a desktop companion robot with an animated expressive face. Several of these projects are featured in this portfolio.
• The Software & Systems Side: 10+ years managing critical IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, and cloud environments across healthcare, hospitality, and government — with certifications from Microsoft, Google, HashiCorp, and the Linux Foundation. I've shipped the other way too: games published on the iOS App Store and Windows Store, and code contributed to an Apache open-source project.
